Aburi, or flame seared sushi, is one of my favourites and a big crowd pleaser at dinner parties. Your friends will be impressed as you flame up their fish.
Futomaki are thick sushi rolls with 4-5 ingredients inside. They are traditionally served on special occasions such as New Year’s celebrations or weddings but I make them every time I make sushi!
Temaki, or hand rolls, are cone-shaped sushi rolls. They are made in your open hand with a nori sheet laid in your palm. It’s a very forgiving process and lots of fun to make!
